Download Instagram videos online

Open a public post or Reel, copy its link, and paste it above. Preview the available media before downloading. You do not need to connect your Instagram account.

Instagram photo and image downloader

The same tool accepts public photo posts. Images keep the format supplied by the source. For a carousel, choose individual photos or videos from the ordered results.

Save Instagram videos in the available quality

igkeeper saves the file returned by the source. Dimensions appear when available. Resolution and audio depend on that source; this tool does not upscale video or offer invented HD or 4K options.

How to save Instagram photos and videos

Copy the post link, get the media, and start your download. Your browser chooses where to save it. Use the dedicated MP3, cover, or carousel tool when you need a different output.

Frequently asked questions

Does Instagram to MP4 conversion change the video?

The standard downloader preserves the supplied video file. It does not re-encode video or add a watermark. The available file format and audio come from the source.

Are my files converted on your server?

MP3 conversion and ZIP creation happen in your browser. If direct downloading fails, an enabled download relay can stream the selected source file through igkeeper without storing it. This does not upload your local files or move conversion to the server.

Can I download content from private accounts?

No. igkeeper accepts links to public posts and Reels. Never enter an Instagram password, login cookie, or account token.

Where will my downloaded file go?

Your browser controls saving. Look in Downloads or Files. On iPhone, you may need to open the file and use Share to save it to Photos. Starting a download does not mean it has been saved to your camera roll.

Why does a public link sometimes fail?

A post may have been removed, its media link may have expired, or the download service may be temporarily unavailable. Resolve the original post link again. Some media hosts also restrict browser access.

Do I need permission to download a post?

Only download content you own or have permission to use. A public post is not a grant of permission to reuse it. igkeeper is independent of Instagram and Meta.
